In response to over 1100 comments that have been submitted for review, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) has announced a postponement of the implementation of certain modifications to Section 301 tariffs on Chinese goods, originally set for August 1, 2024. The new timeline for the proposed tariff increases has yet to be finalized, but it is expected to be announced sometime later in August.
Originally Announced in May the additional tariffs would impact the following products.

Lithium-ion EV Batteries
Battery Parts and Components
Other Critical Minerals
Solar Cells
Steel and Aluminum Products
Ship-to-Shore Cranes
Syringes and Needles
Face Masks / Respirators
